Meet Our Team

We are a family-owned practice dedicated to providing quality individualized healthcare to patients of all ages. Daniel Island Family Medicine is proud to be a part of the wonderful Liberty Doctors network.

Dr. Edward Giove, D.O.

Dr. Giove hails from New Jersey and has degrees from Rutgers University and the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine (now Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine). This board-certified physician has practiced family medicine for more than 20 years so he can quickly zero in on what’s needed to get you healthy – and keep you that way.

As a Daniel Island resident since 2001, it has long been a dream of Dr. Giove’s to open his own medical practice on the island. He is excited to be a part of Liberty Doctors and is looking forward to having his wife, Amy, working by his side to make the dream a reality.

Dr. Giove and Amy have four teenagers, who keep life fun and always interesting. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing (poorly), watching Philadelphia sports teams, traveling with his family, and boating.

Amy Giove,
Office Manager

Amy was born in New Jersey and also lived in Texas, Indiana, and Tennessee before coming to South Carolina to earn her BA degree from Furman University and MBA from The Citadel. After 20 years focused on technology sector market research, customer experience management, and business strategy, Amy is excited to shift gears to medical practice management. Dealing with everything from billing and scheduling to working with insurance companies and stocking inventory, Amy is a good starting point for any questions you have!

Jenny Gardner, Certified Medical Assistant

Her hobbies include dancing, volunteering with the local civic ballet, playing tennis, surfing and collecting sea glass and shells. Jenny is also a mom to a very active 14 year old. She found her calling with primary care and loves living here in South Carolina’s Lowcountry.
